Pros

  • More than 25 years of experience
  • Holistic approach
  • Experienced in FUE and FUG
  • Great for both men and women

Cons

  • First consultation is pricey
  • Small staff

Medical Cosmetic Centre has more than 25 years of providing men and women’s hair care. Their approach uses evidence-based methods and updated technology for the best results.

They have a patient care program that helps manage the client’s expectations, takes note of the client’s aesthetic preferences, and informs the client about the possible risks of the surgery.

Dr George Kerry, their lead dermatologist, is great at guiding patients. In addition, his work has a high success rate.

Their expertise is in using the follicular unit excision method (FUE) and follicular unit grafting (FUG). The clinic is one of the pioneers in Adelaide of the latter method.

The hair transplants they provide are suitable for both men and women. One of their service highlights is that they provide the procedure for beards.

If there’s anything we didn’t like, however, it’s that their rate for the first consultation is pricey. This is because they go in-depth into your family history and health condition.

Aside from this, they don’t always have available schedules because of their small staff.

Pros

  • Has been around since 1964
  • Has many branches
  • Provides a nutritional approach to hair care
  • Treatments encompass various stages of baldness

Cons

  • Unsatisfactory response to inquiries about treatment plans
  • Treatments take some time to work

Ashley & Martin is one of the most experienced hair transplant clinics in Adelaide, as they’ve been around since 1964.

The company is highly accessible, as they have many locations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle, Parramatta, Perth, and more.

They are experts in almost all aspects of hair care, from early hair loss, final stages of baldness, and hair transplant.

The service they provide uses a mostly noninvasive method called REALGROWTH, which includes laser treatments, hormones, and vitamins.

In terms of results, Ashley & Martin doesn’t disappoint, as many clients from all over the world have seen great progress in the reversal of the symptoms of baldness.

That said, a downside with them is that their treatments take some time to work, which means you’ll have to pay more as it goes on.

Aside from this, some clients were unsatisfied with how their representatives explained their treatment plans.

Pros

  • Experienced team
  • High training standards for staff and clinic
  • Expertise in FUT and FUE hair transplant method
  • Convenient online booking tool

Cons

  • Occassionaly doesn’t respond to clients
  • High fees

Epiclinic’s hair transplant procedures are led by Dr. Molton who has more than 28 years of experience. He is registered with the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards which ensures the clinic’s service quality.

In addition, his team has more than 18 years of experience, which is why they provide great results.

They are experts in both FUT and FUE methods. Clients can choose whichever best fits their preferred final look, budget, and preferred time of healing.

Their clinic has one of the widest-ranging equipment we’ve seen. They can provide many treatments for the face, body, skin, and more.

We were also pleased to find that their online booking tool is very easy to use. Choosing schedules and treatments is straightforward with this.

That said, a downside we’ve seen is that sometimes they are unable to respond to clients who have questions about the time of their appointment.

Aside from this, their fees are among the highest we’ve seen. But we find this is reasonable given the experience of the clinic.

Pros

  • Many service variations for hair growth
  • Good scar treatment results
  • Has a unique treatment to remove after-surgery look
  • Can handle different stages of hair loss

Cons

  • Small clinic
  • Not collaborative with clients

Advanced Hair Clinic has a great variation of services for hair transplant and hair growth. These include grafting, fiber treatment, and laser treatment.

It’s why they can handle clients with different stages of hair loss. In addition, they can accommodate those who prefer noninvasive treatments.

One of their service highlights is how well they provide scar treatments. It’s made possible by thorough aftercare advice and effective medication.

These result in a high success rate. The company has branches all over the world, including in Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

We especially like their “The Real Thing” procedure, which gives you an immediate new front hairline. It also removes the after-surgery look that is usually seen after a hair transplant.

However, a downside with them is that they’ve received complaints about not being collaborative with clients regarding treatments.

Aside from this, their clinic is a bit small compared to others. This can make waiting for your appointments less comfortable.

Pros

  • Mechanically assisted method
  • Fast recovery times
  • Has a noninvasive method (PRP injections)

Cons

  • Small team
  • Limited services

The Medical Hair Institute is led by Dr. Matthew Holman who has great qualifications for cosmetic medicine. He specializes in hair regeneration, eyelifts, and facial sculpting.

The clinic primarily uses the Neograft method for hair restoration. It is mechanically assisted to ensure minimal scarring for clients.

The procedure is done quickly and with fast recovery times.

Plus, we found their treatments for premature balding and thinning hair to be highly helpful.

One of their service highlights is their platelet-rich plasma injections, which is a noninvasive method for growing hair. With this technique, they won’t have to make cuts on your skin, which leads to less time required for healing.

We’re also pleased to find that their team is informative and responsive to questions.

After thoroughly reviewing them, a downside we’ve seen is that their team is small. This leads to having fewer available schedules.

Aside from this, their service offerings are limited compared to other clinics.
