Adelaide Bathroom Resurfacing is a family-owned service provider specialising in bathroom restoration and tub resurfacing. The company’s main specialist, Andrew, is fully licensed and insured, with 20 years of experience under his belt.
They use Hawkes Research Laboratories coating products, which are known for their durability and promising long-lasting performance.
I had Andrew refinish my bathtub and was impressed by his work.
When I first contacted him, he was quick to answer, professional, and courteous. Then he quoted $700, which I thought was reasonable considering it’s the standard market price. He explained the whole process and really took care of my tub. In addition, he was punctual, which I appreciated the most.
However, since they only specialise in bathroom resurfacing, they don’t offer extra services such as renovation and other repairs.

Total Resurfacing Specialists has been revamping bathrooms and kitchens for 16 years.
I witnessed the work they did to Claire’s (a former client) bath and was amazed at how it looked after the specialist completed his job. It was spotless with gleaming, smooth surfaces free of stains or grime.
She also commended their team for being fast and thorough in responding to enquiries and setting clear expectations.
However, they only offer standard finishes and a limited range of colours compared to their competitors. This is not ideal for clients who want a more unique or personalised look for their bathtub.

Thermo Glaze caught my attention when I saw the before-and-after photos on their Instagram page. I was in awe of their workmanship!
They revamped my friend’s bathtub, and she praised them for the outstanding result. John gave a fair quote, which she highly appreciated. In the end, it’s a brilliant-looking bath, even better than the new tub she was about to buy.
Upon seeing the refinished tub and their work ethic, I wasn’t surprised that the company has been in the industry for 42 years of experience.
I like that you get to choose between a 5 and 10-year guarantee, which bolsters the customer’s confidence in their services.

MattMans Kitchen and Bathroom Resurfacing has been revamping bathroom and kitchen spaces since 2019.
A former client praised Matt for his incredible workmanship and professionalism from start to finish. She thought he did a fantastic job communicating the entire process and handling her tub meticulously.
I also appreciate the length of their guarantee. In my opinion, five years is a fair length for protection.
However, some former clients complained about the team being late and not showing up to appointments. Also, the fee is higher than the standard price.
